Our client, a leader in manufacturing and engineering solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting production and development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Lachine, QC
Pay Range: $25/hr - $35/hr
Shift: 1 (7:30AM start time)
What's the Job?
- Analyze product specifications and clarify requirements with R&D, Engineering, and Product Management teams.
- Develop and calculate modifications to improve production efficiency and contribute to re-engineering efforts.
- Provide detailed information on product specifications, parts, and components needed for manufacturing.
- Plan equipment layout, tools, and IT programs, and contribute to designing manufacturing workflows.
- Analyze manufacturing sequences during pilot series, test manufacturability, and recommend product changes for production amendments.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field, or a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflow design.
- Proficiency in documentation and process improvement projects.
