Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Calgary. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting inbound, outbound, and fulfillment operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, unloading containers, operating warehouse equipment, preparing customer orders, and maintaining accurate inventory. Forklift experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload inbound shipments and ocean containers
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Load outbound trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory using our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control
- Wrap pallets and prepare freight for shipping
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification or experience is an asset
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) repeatedly
- Basic computer skills and experience with WMS or RF scanners are an asset
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
