Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting and handling items efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport items using appropriate moving equipment and vehicles
- Operate commercial trucks and forklifts as needed, adhering to safety protocols
- Assist customers with their moving needs, providing friendly and professional service
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly to handle various types of cargo
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth operations
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and moving equipment
- Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during loading, transportation, and unloading processes
Experience
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is preferred
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety standards is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with attention to detail is beneficial
Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
