Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to support the delivery of multi-family construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role provides administrative, financial, and coordination support to ensure projects are well-organized, on schedule, and properly documented.
The Project Coordinator plays a key role in connecting field and office teams by managing information flow, supporting project processes, and assisting with overall project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through to close out.
- Coordinate and track RFI’s, submittals, and support project administration, documentation, and filing systems.
- Coordinate project communications between trades, consultants, and internal teams
- Assist with procurement, invoicing, and cost tracking activities
- Support scheduling, planning, and project coordination activities
- Track project changes, documentation, and closeout requirements
- Assist with permits, inspections, and regulatory documentation
- Prepare meeting notes and follow up on action items
- Support use of project management systems and tools
Qualifications
- Technical diploma in an appropriate construction related field (CET), or equivalent construction experience
- 2 + years of construction or coordination experience in multi-family processes.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software is an asset
Working Conditions
- This position is located at our head office and in a site-specific field office. This position requires potential commute to job sites and/or company meetings. A valid drivers license is required
