Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and problem-solving skills are valued. The position requires hands-on work with mechanical systems and tools, contributing directly to the efficiency and safety of our operations. Our shop is equipped with OEM manuals which include troubleshooting and repair information. We also have a shop fully equipped with tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Diagnose mechanical problems accurately and efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in the automotive industry
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently and accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a maintenance or repair role is mandatory
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with mechanical work
- Commitment to safety procedures and continuous learning in mechanical practices
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
