Job Title: Logistics & Supply Chain Manager
Status: Full Time Permanent

MAIN PURPOSE: Position Overview:
Logistics & Supply Chain Manager the Company in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast moving environment. Responsible for the day to day management of people within the warehouse function, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse. Act independently at the organizational level. Outcomes reviewed by organizational head. Decisions and results have an impact on the function and their success. Performance affects the function’s image.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
General:
· Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
· Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
· Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirements
· Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage
· Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals
· Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements
· Responsible for driving Standard Work and ensuring quality processes are implemented to ensure a "Right First Time" product to the customer aligned with their expectation
· Deliver the product to the customer on time, every time using appropriate method
· Control of Fork Lift Truck management to ensure full operational capacity and achieve daily targets
· Oversee any planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
· Ensure security of Warehouse environment and maintain access control, ensuring 5S housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
· Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy
· Maintain the management of supplier return packaging
· Record and communicate all shortage issues to the relevant Materials Analyst
· Monitor stock levels in order to highlight minimum and excess levels
Shipping
· Product supply to Pelee Island Retail Stores
· Courier and trucking planning
· Management of product exports
· Manage the Shipments platforms Stations , ERP …Etc
· Dispatch the drivers with shipments
· Track driver point of return
Receiving
· Supplies storage
· Inventory management of labels and packaging
Warehouse
· Coordination with bottling department and production schedules
· Inventory management
· Product packaging
Distribution/Sales
· Document management for in house retail sales
· E-commerce orders
· Coordination with regional sales team members
Products
· Coordination with on-line marketing plan
· Packaging and labeling supply and inventory
· Work with other departments on promotions and merchandising
· VQA product applications (Product Certification)
· LCBO product updates/merchandising
· Participate with weekly operational meeting
People Management
· Planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse
· Manage Manpower resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and also Lean Manufacturing principles
· Drive Company Absence Control Procedures to ensure maximum attendance levels. Administer holidays, sickness and timekeeping effectively
· Deal with all personnel issues on shift including interaction with the Trade Union, in line with Company Policy and Collective Agreements.
· Supervise the warehouse team and manage day to day warehouse operation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on supply chain management, inventory control, manufacturing or materials management.
- Creating modelling and supplier proposals.
- 5 years of experience working in a supply chain leadership role.
- Proficient in working with ERP systems, Microsoft Suite, and SharePoint.
- Strong passion for developing long-lasting relationships.
- Strong knowledge of import/export compliance and documentation requirements
- Keen attention to detail.
- Previous experience engaging and selecting vendors through an onboarding process.
