Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Brewer and Filtration Specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for brewing high-quality products and managing the filtration processes to ensure our beverages meet strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, has a solid understanding of food processing and manufacturing practices, and is eager to contribute to the production of exceptional products.
Responsibilities
- Operation of BrewVo dealcolyzer, including CIP and SIP, process preparation, process monitoring, data collection, sample analysis, and nest wort preparation.
- Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) and manual sanitation protocols for brewing and cellaring equipment, including fermenting tanks, cellaring tanks, bright beer tanks, and dry hopping vessels, in accordance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) to prevent microbial contamination.
- Brew and or blend products, strictly following provided recipes and accurately documenting lot numbers for all raw materials (malt, hops, yeast, process aids) used in every batch
- Handle cellaring and filtration of products, including centrifugation, flash pasteurization, and keg filling when assigned.
- Use internal ERP software to accurately document key process steps and batch metrics
- Manage and update process records and logs in accordance with GMP, HACCP, and JCBC Food Safety Policy
- Collaborate with Production and Logistics teams to identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain and keep current, product knowledge of JCBC and partner products

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in brewer or equivalent function
- Secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Brewing technical qualification an asset
