(UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of Senior Analyst in our Digital Operations, Application Support, Financial Systems team.

As an integral member of the Finance Systems team, supporting the manager, the responsibilities of the Senior Analyst are primarily:
Support the SAP system to fully meet all business requirements across a number of SAP Finance modules and provide an excellent service to the SAP user community. This includes the running of Interfaces, Reconciliations, and providing end user support.
Day to day responsibility for job monitoring and rescheduling, assisting business users with the execution of business transactions and month-end close processes
Take ownership of SAP related incidents, log them and manage the incident to closure; involving other teams as required.
Perform initial QA and User Acceptance testing in Test environment of problem corrections and enhancements before moving to Production
Inform management of potential service level problems before they occur
Maintain SAP ECC and BI reports for use both in Finance and across the organization
Provide user account maintenance and management
Provide accurate, detailed documentation to the user and on the incident, request or problem
Assess requests, effectively prioritize, and manage the resolution of escalated issues.
Support applications, operations and/or information management services by providing business management or technical consultation relating to the business services area.
Support the development, build and implementation of S/4HANA
Works with staff in the development of reporting requirements
Undergraduate Degree required in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics or related field
Sound knowledge (2 – 3 years) of and applicable industry experience in SAP ECC6 report development (Report Painter, Query), SAP BI (Bex) Portal and Business Explorer
Comprehensive database management skills required including transaction processing procedures, and database command languages
Experience working with applications using Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, or Architectural/ Hierarchical Relational Databases
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of Microsoft Access
Familiarity with the business processes around order management, billing, accounts receivable, purchasing and accounts payable
Good understanding of SAP FI\CO\MM\GM
Experience working with S/4 HANA
Ability to perform moderately complex application testing, data analysis and/or system analysis
Ability to do technical analysis and make an informed decision on the next steps and teams to involve
Experience supporting business applications in a client server environment
Extensive knowledge with business systems analysis and problem
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer relations and support service
Excellent problem recognition and problem solving abilities
Excellent analytical, prioritization, and organization skills
