SUMMARY OVERVIEW
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support uninterrupted airport operations. This role ensures proper tracking, storage, and replenishment of materials and supplies while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in operational efficiency by minimizing shortages, reducing excess stock, and maintaining accurate inventory data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English and French languages, including written documentation
- Must have reliable transportation
- Previous inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
- Experience with inventory management systems or software preferred
- Hold a valid forklift license
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY / WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to lift 70 pounds or more
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach
- Ability to hear and respond to spoken voice and audible alarms generated by terminal or warehouse environments
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Exposure to moderate noise levels and operational warehouse environments
