We are looking for a great person to join our Luisa Risto Team as a Host or Hostess! If you love food and people this might be the position for you!
This is a part time position that involves varying evening shifts and would be great for High School or University Students.
The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting and seating guests. The Host/Hostess provides customer service within the dining establishment as well as acts upon requests necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Greets guests as they arrive and seats them accordingly, ensuring the optimum use of tables
- Ensures special needs or requests are arranged and accommodated
- Answers guest inquiries, takes requests for reservations and take-out orders via phone
- Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the front-of-house environment
- Maintains excellent customer service and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Works closely with the kitchen staff and servers optimizing communication to ensure efficient operations
- Escalates any customer needs or concerns as necessary
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Previous host/hostess or food service experience required
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00-$15.00 per hour
