Job Overview
As a Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering financial data (e.g. inventory purchases, labor costs) to analyze and evaluate it to support cost-effective decision-making within the organization.
Duties
- Conduct cost analysis to identify and recommend cost-saving to reduce waste and increase profitability
- Prepare detailed reports on cost variances and trends
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data for analysis
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks for financial analysis
- Handle accounts related tasks including processing invoices and payments
- Manage cost to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of industrial experience in Accounting & Finance
- Proven experience as a Cost Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial auditing
- Experience with accounting software like Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
