We are currently looking to hire 2 Freelance Florists to join us for the balance of the 2026 season.
Must be available for the following dates:
- July 14-18th inclusive
- Aug 12-13th inclusive
- Aug 15th
- Aug 25-28th inclusive
- Sept 24-25th inclusive
- Oct 28th
- Oct 30-31st inclusive

Design Skills:
- Experience with creating garden style and open form arrangements including but not limited to: centrepieces, head table scapes, hanging installations, backdrops, alter arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, wrist corsages, garlands etc.
- Familiar with current wedding and special event design trends
- Working with cohesive colour palettes
- Maintenance and care and processing of cut flowers
Other Skills:
- Must be physically capable of loading and unloading floral deliveries.
- Experience with setting up event florals (weddings, etc.)
- Cleaning out garbage bins, moving boxes, buckets & processing products
- The ability to adapt to change and can handle working in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Being responsible for keeping the shop and work areas nice and neat
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Must have excellent communication skills and think on the fly, fluent and proficient in English. written and verbal
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, this is not a sitting job!
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs
- Must possess a positive and 'can-do' attitude
- Must have a vehicle or access to a vehicle. Deliveries may be a requirement on event days.
- Must have a min of 2 year working in weddings & events
- Availability to work late night evenings for tear down services (1am-3am)
Work Remotely
Freelance Florist - salary range $22-$30 p/hr.
- To be determined based on experience.
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
