Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet strict quality standards through meticulous inspection and data analysis.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measurement tools such as calipers.
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections to verify product specifications and quality standards.
- Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, documenting findings accurately for reporting purposes.
- Identify defects or deviations from quality standards and communicate issues promptly to relevant teams for corrective action.
- Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Support root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and participate in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare reports to support quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement process improvements that enhance product quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of QA/QC principles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control techniques, and inspection tools such as calipers.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data accurately, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Knowledge of industry standards related to quality assurance is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analysis skills to detect deviations from specifications.
- Prior experience with data collection systems and documentation practices is advantageous. This role is vital for maintaining high-quality standards across production processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
