Overview
We a reliable, long-term kitchen helper to join our kitchen team. If you have experience preparing Asian or Vietnamese dishes, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards
- Assist with prep work including soups, broths, sauces, vegetables, and meats
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Follow Food Safe and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with lifting and handling large soup pots and kitchen equipment
Requirements
- Available to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Good work integrity, work harmoniously with others, willingness to learn.
- 1–2 years experience working in a restaurant kitchen
- Food Safe Level 1 certification (required)
- Familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine or Asian cooking is an asset
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Comfortable lifting heavy soup pots
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
