Overview
Holywood Landscape Ltd. is seeking an experienced Landscaping Supervisor to plan, organize and supervise landscape construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, coordinate work crews, ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, and maintain high standards of quality for residential and commercial landscape construction.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and supervise landscape construction projects.
- Schedule work and coordinate daily activities for the landscaping crew.
- Plan and estimate labour and material requirements.
- Organize and direct the construction of decks, fences and decorative or retaining walls.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Order and manage materials, equipment and supplies.
- Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and quality.
- Supervise a landscaping crew of 1–2 employees.
- Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
- Perform other related supervisory duties as required.
Skills
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field.
- Experience supervising landscape construction crews.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Strong planning, organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of landscape construction methods, including decks, fences and retaining walls.
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding outdoor environment.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Pay: $36.70 per hour
