About the Opportunity
A well-established residential construction company is looking for a reliable, hands-on Warranty Superintendent to join its team.
This role is responsible for coordinating and completing warranty deficiencies, working directly with homeowners and trade partners, and helping ensure warranty work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate has residential construction or service experience, is comfortable working independently, and takes pride in delivering professional service and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional and courteous service when working with homeowners, trades, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Coordinate warranty service days and appointments directly with homeowners and trade partners.
- Conduct primary and anniversary warranty visits and coordinate the completion of identified deficiencies.
- Complete minor repairs and basic carpentry tasks when appropriate.
- Assist trades with smaller warranty items to help ensure deficiencies are completed efficiently.
- Coordinate and oversee warranty deficiency completion within assigned areas.
- Respond to emergency and urgent warranty issues and coordinate the appropriate trades based on the urgency of the situation.
- Create, manage, update, and close warranty work orders.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with trade partners.
- Provide construction-related knowledge and feedback to help identify recurring or potential deficiencies and support preventative solutions.
- Regularly inspect and maintain show homes, using available time between appointments productively.
- Participate in an emergency on-call rotation, generally one week at a time throughout the year.
- Follow all applicable safety policies, procedures, and workplace requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Perform other related duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in residential construction, warranty, service, or a related trade environment.
- Ability to read and understand residential construction drawings and blueprints.
- Comfortable performing basic carpentry and minor repair work.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to follow through on commitments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with homeowners, trades, suppliers, and individuals with different personalities and working styles.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable ability to travel between job sites.
- Availability to work occasional evenings when required.
