Solvera has a current need for an Intermediate to senior .NET Developer to serve clients in Regina.

Responsibilities:
Software development - .NET 4.0 and prior versions / C# / SQL Server and Oracle
Implementing Web, Distributed and Service-oriented architectures and technologies in .NET
Developing and implementing architecture and development models and frameworks
Web-based technologies such as ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML/XML, JavaScript and other web protocols (e.g. HTTP, REST)
Complete development-related tasks as assigned by tech leads and/or senior developers
Produce and/or assist with the production of various SDLC deliverables
Work on assigned development projects which will include a number of applications requiring new development, or upgrades/enhancements
Work effectively within a team, supporting other members for the team in achieving business objectives and providing client services

Desired Skills and Experience:
Completion of a recognized post-secondary education program in Information Technology and four or more years of programming and testing experience in a .NET environment
Knowledge of ASP.NET web site configuration and setup - .NET 4.0 and prior versions / IIS 7.x and prior versions.
Previous experience is Software Configuration Management and agile development tools and practices, such as Microsoft Visual Studio Team System
Broad knowledge of security principles, patterns and practices for Distributed architectures and technologies.
Knowledge of Identity Management concepts, principles and technologies.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English
Legal ability to work in Canada

Location Requirements:
Solvera consultants are hired into a specific location and generally spend the bulk of their consulting focus on clients within that geography, with occasional assignments and travel across western Canada.
