Yachimec Group is looking for a skilled Paint Protection Film Installer to join our automotive team.This position is well-suited for someone with hands-on experience installing paint protection film and a strong eye for detail. The ideal candidate takes pride in clean, precise work, understands proper vehicle care, and enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
About the Role
As a Paint Protection Film Installer, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles and installing paint protection film on a variety of makes and models. This may include partial front-end packages, full front-end applications, high-impact areas, custom pieces, and other vehicle protection-related work.
You will be expected to work carefully, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure each vehicle is completed to a high standard before delivery.
Responsibilities
- Install paint protection film on customer and dealership vehicles
- Prepare vehicle surfaces prior to installation, including cleaning and inspection
- Apply film to various vehicle panels, edges, and high-impact areas
- Trim, wrap, and finish installations with care and precision
- Review completed work for quality, cleanliness, and consistency
- Handle vehicles professionally and follow proper care procedures
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area
- Communicate with managers or team members regarding job status, timelines, and any concerns
- Assist with other automotive appearance or protection-related tasks as needed
- Follow company standards for workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous paint protection film installation experience is required
- Experience with automotive detailing, tint, vinyl, coatings, or related vehicle protection services is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good hand skills, patience, and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working around a variety of vehicles
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to follow instructions, processes, and quality standards

Experience
- Paint Protection Film installation: Required
- Automotive detailing, tint, vinyl, or related experience: asset
- Automotive industry experience: asset
