About the position
Alcool NB Liquor is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to document, analyze, and evaluate ANBL and Cannabis NB business processes. Reporting to the Manager of Business Solutions, they work cross-functionally to research and gather business requirements and make recommendations to increase efficiency, usability, and cost-savings. They are adept at building relationships with users and stakeholders to ensure adoption of new systems. This senior-level role acts as a SME to the ANBL and Cannabis NB organizations and supports the manager to track team activities, recommend courses of action, and resolve escalated issues.
Responsibilities include

Documenting business and system requirements, including feasibility studies, preparing business cases, and conducting initial risk assessments

Analyzing current state and future state system capabilities to make recommendations and design solutions

Creating project analysis documentation, including requirements, scope, milestones, use cases, future state proposals, UAT plans, etc.

Advanced-level business system support and troubleshooting

Identifying and escalating issues to ensure corrective actions are taken and project objectives are achieved
Required previous experience
-
Business analysis experience as a part of an ERP Transformation Project and subsequent ongoing business and solution support post go-live

Previous experience across a variety of departments, including category management (beverage / food product-centric), marketing, product demand planning, warehousing, distribution & logistics, finance, business intelligence & master data
What do you need to be successful?

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar

Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and encourage team to accomplish their goals

Builder of collaborative relationships to gain consensus, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives

Advocate who promotes team contributions across the organization

Exceptional communication, time management, facilitation, change management, and process improvement skills
It would be fantastic if you also had

Prior experience in the retail or CPG industry

Experience working with ERPs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365

Strong project management skills to develop project plans and specifications, estimate time and resources, monitor milestones, track progress, and provide timely updates

Reporting into the Retail Operations Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick
Note:

The successful candidate must be based in New Brunswick

Semi-regular travel to Fredericton for meetings and critical incidents will be required

Salary: $2,510 - $3,466 biweekly
