Job Overview
We seek an EXPERIENCED, dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and be committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires effective communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to educate and inspire students while collaborating with fellow educators. This is not a position for an ECEA. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years experience.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Lead classroom activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom dynamics.
- Utilize computer operation skills for administrative tasks, including maintaining student records and preparing reports.
- Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers, fostering their professional growth through mentorship.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and special education needs.
- Organize classroom materials and resources efficiently to enhance the learning experience.
- Monitor student behaviour and academic performance, implementing strategies for improvement as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in Early Childhood Education.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities within a classroom or educational environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer operation for educational purposes, including software for lesson planning and communication.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods, such as positive guidance is required.
