Minimum 2 years grooming experience. Applicants must have clipper, all the blades covering each area of grooming, all the proper blending, chunking, and thinning scissors needed for each groom, and all the proper blade comb guards.
Commission pay 50/50 split plus tips.
Responsibilities:
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
- Bath and blow dry pets, including dematting, undercoat removal, and trimming their nails
- Perform basic grooming tasks such as ear cleaning, teeth brushing, sanitary trim, anal expressions, ear plucking, and paw pad shaving
- Communicate with each client prior to each groom, and ensure the safety and well-being of their pets during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including tubs, and grooming area.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy pets, as some pets may be large or require assistance
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners and address their needs
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques and breed-specific cuts
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks
- Patience and gentle handling of pets, especially those who may be anxious or uncooperative

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
