Job Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Provide leadership to the accounts payable/accounts receivable personnel
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage the budgeting processes
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
- Implement operational best practices
- Maximize a cost-effective benefits package
- Review control systems
- Review insurance coverage
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Issue timely and complete financial statements
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
- Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- Maintain the management cost reports
- Provide financial analyses for pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
- CPA or CMA designation
- At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Financial planning and strategy skills
- Ability to prepare financial budgets
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Must have demonstrated ability to research and interpret data
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: Competitive salary based on years of experience
Benefits: Extended Health and Dental Benefits after 3 months of employment
