About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing complex business challenges and translating business needs into effective technology solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, and technical teams, you will gather and document requirements, improve business processes, support system implementations, facilitate testing activities, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
In this role, you will:

Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.

Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions.

Develop process maps, workflows, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Support system enhancements, software upgrades, and implementation projects.

Design and execute testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Provide second-level application support and coordinate issue resolution with vendors and internal teams.

Develop operational documentation, procedures, and training materials.

Analyze and distribute business and operational reports using reporting and analytics tools.

Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure successful project delivery and business outcomes.

About You
You are a highly analytical and collaborative professional who thrives on solving business problems and improving processes. You excel at building relationships with stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and translating complex requirements into practical solutions. You are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both business and technical environments.
You Must Have

Degree or certificate from an accredited technical college or post-secondary institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in the financial services industry, including at least two (2) years of business analysis experience.

Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

Experience implementing and supporting business applications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with SQL queries, data analysis, and reporting tools.

Experience with API integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
-
International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification or equivalent business analysis certification.

Experience with core banking systems, particularly Fiserv DNA.

Experience with digital banking platforms such as MemberDirect/Forge or Intellect DEP.

Experience with Lodestar or similar reporting and analytics platforms.
