Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, hybrid Sales Representative to drive growth by upselling digital marketing and education solutions to an established base of veterinary hospital accounts. This role involves leveraging relationships within a large partnership, maintaining existing accounts, and meeting ambitious sales targets to grow the existing accounts within the animal health industry. The position reports directly to the Director of Sales – Practice Solutions.
As a trusted advisor to veterinary practices, you’ll identify customer needs, provide tailored digital solutions, and negotiate to close deals. The role also includes updating the company’s CRM, participating in trade shows, and collaborating across departments to enhance client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales and performance targets set by the company.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert on digital marketing solutions, understanding and addressing the unique needs of veterinary clients.
- Educate veterinary practices on our digital product offerings via telephone and video conference, demonstrating the value of our solutions.
- Use a consultative sales approach to move clients through the sales funnel, resulting in successful sales.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in salesforce.com to track client engagement and ensure accurate sales forecasting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address challenges, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver a seamless client experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and competitors’ offerings in animal health and digital marketing.
- Proactively manage existing accounts to build lasting relationships and identify upsell opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Self-starter with strong motivation and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals, preferably in digital marketing or veterinary solutions.
- 1-3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in B2B or healthcare sectors.
- Degree or diploma in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Highly organized, able to multi-task, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% within North America.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
On Target Earnings (OTE) $70000 - $90000 annually including base plus commission
