The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is required, with a minimum of three years of post-graduate clinical experience in mental health and/or addictions preferred. Experience working with individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, PTSD, and concurrent disorders is required. Candidates must have education and/or training in psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT) or demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to developing psychotherapy competencies. Being authorized or be actively working toward authorization to perform, the controlled act of psychotherapy would be an asset. Certification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing through the Canadian Nurses Association is considered an asset, and current CPR (BCLS) certification is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in crisis intervention, recovery-oriented practice, and complex case coordination, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills. The ability to work effectively within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, experience working with diverse populations, and a commitment to equity-informed, client-centred care are essential. Bilingualism in French and English or proficiency in an additional language is considered an asset. For candidates who require clinical supervision to practice psychotherapy independently, CAMH may arrange a formal supervisory relationship within the program, subject to capacity, as a condition of hire.

Salary Range: $41.15 – $58.98 per hour
