Job Summary
Well‑established earthworks and excavating contractor with over 25 years of experience in the Kelowna area. We are currently seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our civil crew. We take pride in delivering high-quality underground infrastructure work and maintaining a strong, safety-focused team.
Duties
- Install water, storm, sanitary, and shallow utility piping to proper grade and alignment
- Work from grade stakes, plans, and laser levels
- Communicate effectively with operators and foremen to ensure efficient production
- Install manholes, catch basins, service connections, and related structures
- Ensure proper trenching, bedding, and backfill procedures
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years pipelaying experience in civil or earthworks construction
- Experience with watermain, storm, sanitary, and shallow utilities
- Ability to read grades and interpret site plans
- Strong understanding of trench safety and site conditions
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation required
