Job Description
In collaboration with the Senior Director, Safety and Quality, the Coordinator supports the promotion of the Safety Management System (SMS) by driving employee engagement and participation. The incumbent plays a key role in communicating safety initiatives and works closely with the Safety and Quality teams to understand priorities and promote key topics across the organization.
Responsibilities

Coordinate the production and publication of the monthly Safety department newsletter (TSC Impact), including planning, content development, layout and distribution

Propose topics and write engaging content related to aviation safety

Optimize and maintain SharePoint and intranet pages for Safety and Quality to ensure they are clear, accessible and visually appealing

Use a variety of communication channels and tools, including ICARUS, to effectively deliver safety-related messages

Collaborate with Safety Officers and Quality teams to develop and update annual SMS and Quality training materials (classroom and online)

Perform administrative tasks such as proofreading, translation and document formatting

Act as backup administrator for the ICARUS safety system when required

Produce safety statistics and provide support in data tracking when needed

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Director, Safety and Quality
Qualifications

College diploma in office administration, communications, graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in communications, administration, graphic design, or within the aviation industry

Experience in the aviation industry is considered an asset

Strong writing skills, attention to detail and a good sense of visual presentation

Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, discretion and sound judgment

Strong collaboration skills and ability to simplify and communicate complex information

Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and ease with collaborative digital tools and AI (e.g., Copilot)

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

Oral and written fluency in French and English*
A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
