Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Family Preservation and Reunification Support Workers to join our team. In this vital role, you will work directly with families and children to promote safe, healthy, and stable home environments. Responsibilities
- Provide in-home or community-based support to families involved in the child welfare system
- Assist families in developing parenting skills, improving communication, and addressing challenges that impact family stability
- Facilitate family reunification plans by coordinating services and resources tailored to each family's needs
- Offer emotional support and guidance to children and parents during the reunification process
- Document case progress, service delivery, and family interactions accurately and in compliance with agency policies
- Collaborate with social workers, counselors, and community partners to ensure comprehensive support for families
- Promote positive parenting practices and help families access educational, health, and social services
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or families is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of community resources related to child welfare, mental health, and family services is a plus

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
