We are looking for a reliable DZ Driver for local refrigerated deliveries throughout Niagara, Hamilton, and the GTA. This position involves operating a straight truck, completing pickups and deliveries, and maintaining proper reefer temperatures.
Duties
- Complete local pickups and deliveries
- Operate a refrigerated straight truck safely
- Monitor and maintain correct reefer temperatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete delivery paperwork and driver logs
- Safely back into loading docks and customer locations
- Communicate delays or delivery issues with dispatch
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean
Requirements
- Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable DZ driving experience
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
- Good knowledge of Niagara, Hamilton, and GTA routes
- Refrigerated or food-delivery experience preferred
- Comfortable with multi-stop local deliveries
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to use a pallet jack and assist with unloading when required
- Available for early morning starts
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 2 years (preferred)
