Shopper Marketing Manager - Personal Health (Canada)
The Shopper Marketing Manager will be a key contributor within the Insight, Analytics and Trade & Shopper Marketing team in the Personal Health department of Philips Canada. In this role, you will help support the goals and objectives of the newly established shopper/trade marketing team.
Execute with excellence our Shopper Marketing Priorities & national programs from ideation, proposal, creation all the way to development of the program and the channel promotional materials. Develop national & retailer specific strategies for in-store and omnichannel shopper marketing programs, present project briefs internally, and seek out opportunities for optimization.
Work collaboratively with the North American Shopper Marketing team to determine opportunities for partnerships and sales growth with our key customers (Walmart, Costco, Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart, Amazon, and other key Canadian retail players). Utilize knowledge of Philips’ categories (Oral Health Care, Groom & Beauty, and Mother and Child Care) to determine best opportunities for augmenting Sales and Marketing promotions.
Actively collaborates with Marketing, Sales/Customer Teams, Insights, and other functional teams to support program execution and identify opportunities for growth / build selling stories. Lead project management of Shopper Marketing events by attending customer meetings, analyzing the marketplace, budgeting, setting timelines, running post-event ROI analytics, and gathering internal/external stakeholder approval.
You’re the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 5+ yrs experience in CPG, with minimum 1yr in shopper or trade marketing
You have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in marketing or related field and;
Your skills include experience in commercial functions preferred - e.g. sales, shopper/trade marketing, shopper insights, traditional marketing, etc.
Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods industry with experience working with grocery & drug customers preferred
Experience in developing Shopper Marketing programs and collaborating with Sales team and customers.
Good knowledge of the Canadian retail environment and understanding of the elements that trigger conversion of shoppers at the POS
Experience in a digital commerce enterprise
