Job purpose:
The overall responsibility will be for the coverage of the geographical area of South Western Ontario servicing all existing distribution partners and current OEM’s.
The Ideal Candidate should live between London and the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area.
Duties to include:
- Daily sales calls to existing customers and potentially new customers, updating them on both current and new products.
- Increase sales by offering Joint Sales calls with existing distribution partners, and create new business opportunities with Panel builders, OEM’s and System Integrators.
- Create an area budget, summarizing sales targets and a new account goal.
- Use the ZOHO CRM report to track daily activities.
- Planned schedule will be submitted to the Supervisor on the Friday of each week, showing the next week’s plan and provide a daily call report summary shall be submitted after the commencement of the business day.
- Provide customers with promotional materials, like catalogues etc.
- Offer in branch product training (once applicable)
- Deliver a quality Customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Two years in an external sales role.
- Background of dealing with customers and working with distribution partners.
- Proven history of growth and success, in both short and long term parameters.
Desirable Asset:
Direct competitor knowledge
Mandatory Skills in Role:
- Good IT skills in MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and associates.
- Focused and organized, with excellent time-management.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Minimum of 2 Years of Experience in selling AUTOMATION type products, such as Relays, Timers, Push Buttons, Limit Switches, Safety Interlocks.
Mandatory Qualifications in Role
- Grade 12 Minimum High School diploma. Related College or University diploma is an asset.
- Full driving license, with a Clean Record.
