Essential Duties
The following duties are an overview of the primary duties and responsibilities of the IT Coordinator and should not be considered an all-inclusive list:
- Actively engage in software development projects in full alignment with the company's business requirements and objectives
- Provide continuous maintenance and technical support for in-house software developed for employee use
- Demonstrate a continuous commitment to professional development to effectively support diverse software development requirements
- Provides prompt technical support on computers, servers and network by troubleshooting when needed
- Provides problem determination and resolution for all hardware and software issues.
- Stays abreast of current IT developments as they apply to the area of responsibility through reading, research and formal education.
- Recommends and implements upgrades on systems to ensure longevity.
- Supports the testing and deployment of new applications and systems.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Safety Responsibilities
All Flair employees are required to be an active safety participant at Flair by:
- Attending required safety training sessions
- Reporting any accidents, near misses and safety concerns to a designated safety team leader, in a timely manner
- Following the Company’s work safety rules and procedures.
Food Safety Responsibilities
- Employees shall maintain a good understanding of Flair’s food safety policies, GMP regulatory requirements and HACCP principles reflecting industry best practices, FSSC 22000 certification scheme, and relevant CTPAT minimum security criteria.
- Employees shall report food safety non-conformities to the responsible person(s). Responsible personnel shall have defined responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.
Required Experience, Attitude
In addition to performing satisfactorily all of the duties and responsibilities of the position, an individual in this position must possess and maintain the following knowledge, skills, qualifications and/or abilities:
- Understanding of software languages
- Comprehensive knowledge of Backend and Frontend development
- Proven experience in web development
- Strong passion and enthusiasm for software development
- Solid foundational knowledge of Computer Science
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for debugging
- Understanding of API interfaces
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and adopting new technologies
- Preferred: Mendix (no-code platform) experience
Working Environment/Physical Requirements:
- The duties of this position generally involves sedentary office work.
- Periodic travel is required to other Flair locations.
- Moderate physical activity is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Ability to sit, talk, see and hear.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop/bend, lift, and frequent repetitive motion and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and normal vision.
- Frequent use of office equipment including personal computer, copier, postage equipment, telephone and fax machine.
- This position has frequent exposure to periods of high activity, interruptions and high stress under demanding and occasionally adversarial conditions.
- The position requires communication with Company employees, customers and other individuals.
- Work hours will vary depending upon the needs of the Company’s customers at any given time, and will involve working long or non-traditional hours to fulfill Company and/or customer’ needs, projects or special circumstances.
