Information Technology Department
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
Answers telephone support requests
Create tickets in ticketing system and assign to desktop support techs
Assumes responsibility for tasks assigned to them and ensures proper technical solutions have been applied
Prepares computers for new and existing staff members
Participate in computer moves
Supports boardroom equipment and presentation setups
Supports corporate email on mobile devices
Installs / upgrades business applications
Supports remote access (Citrix, VPN, WAN) to business applications
Work with users and other technical personnel to resolve problems
Creates and updates technical documents for knowledge database
Essential Qualifications / Competencies:
Minimum of 2 years experience with:
Troubleshooting IT issues for Windows 7 and 10 workstations and MS Office 2010
Knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP VPN, DHCP)
Knowledge of Business apps (Reppak, IBMS, Borealis, InfoSys, MicroBBM)
Experience with mobile devices and (BES12)
Experience using SCCM (remote control console)
Experience with Exchange Management Console – (2010)
Experience with Active Directory
Experience with HP Service Manager or other ticketing system
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
Diploma or Degree in Computer Studies or related field an asset
Office environment, business casual attire
Must be able to lift 30lbs (13.6kg), to move computer equipment
