Job Title: Shipper/Receiver – Inventory & Forklift Operator (Days, Mon–Fri)
Pay: $21.00–$23.00 per hour

Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM — day shift, no evenings, no weekends

What you'll do
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive incoming ingredients and packaging, check counts, temperatures, and lot codes
- Pick, pack, and load outgoing wholesale and retail orders accurately
- Coordinate bulk milk tanker shipments, including loading and paperwork
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack daily
Inventory & Ordering
- Own inventory accuracy, maintain records, run cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies
- Monitor stock levels of packaging, ingredients, and supplies; reorder before we run out
- Place purchase orders with approved suppliers and follow up on delivery timelines
- Rotate stock (FIFO), track best-before dates, and flag short-dated product
- Support month-end inventory counts
Team Support
- Pitch in on the production floor when the team needs a hand
- Keep the dock and cold storage clean, organized, and inspection-ready
What you bring
- Valid Forklift Certificate (required)
- 1+ years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
- Experience with inventory management or purchasing (or a strong desire to own it)
- Sharp attention to detail — lot codes, dates, and paperwork matter here (we're a federally regulated food facility)
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in cooler environments
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable with computers inventory software, spreadsheets, email
- Bonus points: experience in food manufacturing, dairy, or cold storage
