Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have experience in food preparation, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
* Assist with food preparation and ingredient processing
* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
* Follow food safety and health regulations
* Manage inventory and notify management of supply needs
* Work efficiently during busy service periods
* Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
* Support other kitchen operations as required
Must be comfortable appearing in photos and videos for social media content.
* Must be willing to support our social media content creation and marketing team when required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in cooking and food preparation
* Valid driver’s license (required)
* Must currently reside in the St. John’s metro area
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and food quality
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
* Reliable transportation is considered an asset
* Legally authorized to work in Canada

1. Initial phone interview
2. In-person interview
3. One-day paid working interview / job test
4. Successful candidates will be offered a position
