Under the direction of Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our facility while testing designs and specifications to continuously improve our products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform lab testing and assist technical team members with mechanical and electrical components fitting into various types of HVAC products and testing setups.
- Calibrate, maintain, and repair lab instrumentation and test fixtures.
- Support our End-of-line testing equipment by 3D printing spare parts, managing spare parts ordering, installing spare parts on testing equipment, and troubleshooting equipment on the production line.
- Develop, implement, and improve Laboratory and Production department testing equipment and systems.
- Create and maintain organizational systems for materials, tools, and equipment utilized in the lab.
- Maintaining lab, inventory and ordering replacement supplies.
- Assist the production support team with quality deviations.
Skills, Education, and/or Experience
- Education in Electrical/Electronics/Controls Technical Engineering, or related field or similar work experience preferred.
- Previous experience in technology, product development, or similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with lab equipment, data acquisition, programming, work instructions, drawing and instrumentation preferred.
- Technical skills required for computers and tablets.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills required.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills required.
- Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently.
- Experience with hand tools and other manufacturing systems and software is preferred.
- Previous experience or knowledge of the HVAC manufacturing industry an asset.
Job Conditions
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and looking at a computer.
- Moderate physical requirements – able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Sitting, lifting, squatting, pushing, or reaching for intermittent or extended periods.
Work Environment:
- Factory, Warehouse, Distribution Center, Office.
- May be exposed to loud, repetitive sounds from machinery or equipment.
- May use chemicals or other in accordance with MSDS.
- May operate machinery in close proximity or with objects exposed to eyes or face.
