Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Administer medication following prescribed instructions and document accordingly
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support patients with mobility exercises and assist with transfers using proper techniques for heavy lifting when required
- Monitor health status, report changes to healthcare professionals, and document observations accurately
- Engage clients in recreational activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care is preferred; experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, medication administration, and patient care best practices is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with transfers or mobility support
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to undergo training if required
