Position Overview
Aurea Cleaning Company Inc. provides cleaning services in Burnaby, BC. We are hiring a full-time Janitor to help maintain clean, safe, and organized spaces for our clients.
This position is suitable for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical cleaning work.
Main Duties
The Janitor will be responsible for:
- Cleaning floors, hallways, washrooms, offices, and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Emptying garbage and recycling bins
- Restocking washroom and cleaning supplies when needed
- Using cleaning equipment and products safely
- Reporting maintenance, safety, or supply issues to the supervisor
- Following assigned cleaning schedules and company procedures
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during the shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic communication skills
