With over 140 years of proudly serving Canadian families, Dainty Foods is a trusted name in rice and grain products. We’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to help lead efficient, safe, and organized operations in our warehouse and logistics network.
Role Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and coordination with third-party warehouses. This role ensures smooth logistics processes while promoting team leadership and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and storage of goods
- Coordinate inventory transfers with third-party warehouses
- Monitor railcar and container shipments and resolve transport issues
- Ensure inventory accuracy, product traceability, and warehouse organization
- Lead and support warehouse staff; foster a safe and productive environment
- Communicate across supply chain and production teams to align priorities
- Drive efficiency through process improvements and strong operational planning
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
- Manage pallets, storage trailers, and fumigation program
- Provide backup for logistics and shipping roles when needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of warehouse/logistics supervision (food industry experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with inventory systems, WMS, and ERP platforms
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or SQF is an asset

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
