Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring proper fitment and safety standards.
- Perform routine oil changes and lubrication services using power tools and hand tools efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues related to tires, brakes, suspension, and fluid levels.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems and recommend appropriate maintenance or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and use of maintenance equipment.
- Communicate clearly with customers about their vehicle’s needs, explaining services performed and upselling additional maintenance or tire options when appropriate.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking parts and supplies needed for tire replacements and oil changes.
Experience
- Prior automotive experience or automotive repair background is preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Experience working with tires, oil changes, brake inspections, or general automotive servicing is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs.
- Knowledge of automotive systems combined with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques or procedures.
