We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Tire and Lube Technician to join our team at Canadian Tire in Caledonia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tire and oil changes, basic vehicle maintenance, and providing excellent customer service. This position offers the opportunity for additional learning and skill development through our "Cars on Demand" program.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-ups
- Inspect and replace air filters, wiper blades, and other basic maintenance items
- Ensure vehicles are road-ready by performing routine inspections and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer any customer inquiries regarding vehicle maintenance
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities through our "Cars on Demand" program
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver's license
