We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Supervisor/Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, and process payments efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining excellent customer service and guest relations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Monitor food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and efficient table turnover
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and support team members as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in roles involving serving or supervising
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS, cash handling, basic math, and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food industry operations including food preparation, hospitality principles, and guest services
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
