We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels of ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and kitchen protocols as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation.
