We are looking for security guard to work at a high profile government site in the Vancouver area.
Rotation: Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1700
Wage: $21.71 per hour
Due to the nature of the site, it is required to obtain a Secret Clearance from the Canadian Government. This is an in depth process and can take up to 6 months to clear.
Some of your responsibilities include:

Sign in, direct and monitor all guests, visitors, contractors and contact the appropriate staff member

Receive, register and secure all incoming mail/parcels.

If their is an emergency evacuation, work with base building security and Regional Security Officers to evacuate everyone from the premises

Complete daily, weekly, monthly and statistical reports

Respond to emails and answer the phone and radio/mobile
-
Attend and respond to emergency medical situations
-
Capture employee pictures for employee ID cards
-
Perform other various administrative duties as required
Your Must Haves …

Valid BC Security License
-
Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 10 years due to secret clearance requirements

OFA 1 or willing to obtain one

Strong computer/admin skills

Excellent English oral and written skills
