We are seeking a reliable, independent, and patient-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team on Saturdays. This role is ideal for an experienced community pharmacist or a motivated new graduate looking to manage a manageable workflow in a supportive environment.
As the store has recently extended its operating hours to Saturdays, you will be working independently to manage a light volume (approximately 10–20 prescriptions per day) and establish our weekend service presence.
- Schedule: Every Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (4 hours/week)
- Location: Brampton
- Support: Working solo (no assistant on Saturdays); however, the Pharmacy Manager is always available via phone for consultation or support if needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent Operations: Accurately dispense prescriptions and manage daily pharmacy operations independently during Saturday hours.
- Clinical & Professional Services: Provide a full suite of expanded scope services, including Minor Ailment Assessments, injections/immunizations, and patient consultations.
- Patient Care: Deliver exceptional customer service and patient-centered care to build trust within the community.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body (OCP).
- Clinical Certifications: Must be injection certified.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency and comfort with Kroll Paper pharmacy software are strictly required to ensure independent workflow efficiency.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience: Prior community pharmacy experience is required. New graduates are welcome to apply provided they possess strong independent Kroll capabilities and clinical confidence.
Pay: $41.56-$66.91 per hour
