Dr Jaigris Hodson is seeking a research assistant to contribute to their research project A New Glass Ceiling: The Impact of Online Harassment on Research Innovation and Public Education.
As the research assistant you will be responsible for conducting literature reviews; synthesize academic literature and policy documents; code literature and documents for themes and similarities; and contribute to written reports.
Job Requirements
A Master’s degree
Currently enrolled in a PhD program
Previous experience conducting literature reviews, and related knowledge of literature
Ability to collect and record data using structured interview techniques
Experience coding and inputting data, tabulating data, and computing statistics
Strong writing skills

This is a causal, on-call position working approximately eight to ten hours per week for a term of approximately three months. The hourly rate is $22.00. Due to its limited term nature, this position is not eligible for enrolment in the University’s Benefits Plan, but you will be provided with 4% in lieu of vacation.
