WHR Excavating is looking for a Dry Vac Operator/Driver
Valid DZ/AZ driver's license with clean Driver's Abstract required, with minimum 12 months of experience.
Ability to operate standard 18 speed with a minimum of 6 months experience.
Applicants who have both driving and operating experience will be prioritized.
Safety certificates that would be considered an asset include: Working at Heights, Confined Space, Ground Disturbance, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Lockout Tagout.
Job Description:
- Operate a Dry Vac, in a safe and professional manner.
- General maintenance of truck including washing, greasing, changing filters as needed, etc.
- Communication with Supervisor in a timely fashion about any mechanical issues that you are not capable of troubleshooting.
- Properly document all paperwork as required by law and/or established company policy in a clear, accurate manner.
- Physical demands of the job can include heavy lifting, kneeling, crawling, as well as working in all types of environments, inclement weather, with potential for long days over 8 hours.
- This position is full-time, but due to the nature of the construction industry, hours can fluctuate.
