Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Course Superintendent/Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the golf course to a high standard of playability and presentation while leading a dedicated team of turf and landscape professionals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in golf course maintenance, supervisory experience
- Diploma or degree in Turfgrass Management, is an asset
- Have a valid Ontario Pesticide License (Landscape Exterminator License)
- Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable provincial regulations
- Valid Ontario driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a dedicated team of turf and landscape professionals
- Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, including turf management, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control
- Monitor and optimize the clubs irrigation system
- Manage budgets, inventory and procurement of equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliance with all Ontario regulations related to pesticide use, environment protection, and workplace safety
- Supervise the maintenance and repaid of gold course equipment, including mowers, tractors, and other turf/construction tools
- Develop and maintain a chemical application program in keeping with agronomic needs and within local and regional regulations. Maintaining detailed chemical application log as required by law
- Communicate with the Owner and Head Professional with regarding all gold course matters

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
