Overview
We're building an AI-powered Neurological application with a React Native mobile
app backed by a TypeScript/Node.js API on AWS. You'll own the mobile experience
end-to-end-from architecture to App Store deployment-delivering polished, high-
performance apps that work seamlessly on iOS and Android.
This role is ideal for a mobile specialist who can move fast with AI-assisted
development tools while maintaining the quality and attention to detail that great
mobile apps require. You'll collaborate closely with our full-stack and AI engineers to
bring intelligent features to life.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android
- from a single codebase
- Architect clean, maintainable, and scalable mobile application structure
- Implement state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, React Query)

- Integrate with backend APIs and AI-powered features
- Optimize app performance, bundle size, startup time, and offline capabilities

- Manage app store submissions, releases, and over-the-air updates
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts and shared TypeScript

Requirements
- 7+ years of mobile or frontend development experience, with 3+ years in React
- Native
- Expert-level TypeScript and React proficiency
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns, component lifecycle,
- and state management
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (Jest, Detox, or
- similar)
- Proficiency with app store deployment processes for both iOS and Android
- Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and handling real-time data
- Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization techniques
- Demonstrated effectiveness with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, etc.)
- Strong UI/UX sensibility and attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills for remote async collaboration
- Ability to work independently and manage your own priorities
Nice to Have:
- Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience for bridging when needed
- Experience with Expo for rapid development and OTA updates
- Python familiarity (FastAPI, Django, Flask) for backend collaboration
- Background in political tech, news/media apps, or social platforms
- Experience with real-time features, live updates, and high-traffic scenarios
- Familiarity with content moderation UX patterns
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, platform-specific guidelines)
- Experience with analytics integration, A/B testing, and feature flagging
- International localization (i18n) and RTL language support
- Experience with animations (Reanimated, Lottie) and gesture handling
Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
