About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated Handyman/Handywoman to join our growing team. This role involves a wide variety of residential and commercial repair, renovation, and maintenance work. The ideal candidate is experienced in multiple trades, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently while maintaining a professional attitude on-site.
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry, framing, trim, and finish work.
- Install, repair, and finish drywall, including taping, mudding, sanding, and patching.
- Complete interior and exterior painting, staining, and surface preparation.
- Install doors, hardware, baseboards, casing, shelving, and other finish materials.
- Perform minor repairs to flooring, ceilings, walls, and other building components.
- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Identify deficiencies and recommend practical repair solutions.
- Work independently or alongside project managers and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, renovations, or property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs.
- Experience with multiple trades is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow project instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Valid G driver's licence with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Own basic hand tools (preferred).
